Military Training

Besides university studies, the cadets of General Jonas Žemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania (MAL) take the Basic Officer Course (BOC). The BOC provides cadets with basic military knowledge and skills essential not only to military service but to different civilian areas as well. Also, additional courses are held for developing the competences and abilities necessary for commanding a platoon-sized military unit of approximately 35 servicemen.
