The course aims to train servicemen for the Lithuanian Armed Forces capable of performing a paratrooper jump.
The course is run by the Parachuting Training Center of the Lithuanian Armed Forces.
Duration: 56 hours (7 days)
The course takes place in the training base of the Parachuting Training Center. Paratrooper jumps are made using airborne and parachute equipment during field exercises at aerodromes or landing sites specified by the order of the Chief of Defence.
The course is considered successfully completed if the final assessment is positive and at least one paratrooper jump is made. Upon the completion of the Basic Parachute Training Course, a participant receives a certificate, badge “Parachute Wings“ and a badge certificate.
