 The officers of Military Academy of Lithuania delivered lectures on the course “NATO headquarters operating procedures” in Kazakh Republic PfP training centre.

On 14-15 May, 2010, chief instructors of the Commander and Junior Staff Officer Course of the Military Academy mjr. Viktoras Bagdonas and cpt. Vaidas Stankevicius were invited by Kazakh Republic PfP training centre to participate in the course “NATO headquarters operating procedures” as instructors. They delivered lectures on Military decision making process (MDMP) and Troop leading procedures (TLP) to the officers and sergeants of the Kazakhstan Peacekeeping Brigade (KAZBRIG).
The centre is situated in Almaty, on the Kazakhstan Peacekeeping Brigade (KAZBRIG) base. It was established with the assistance of the United States and is equipped with new computers and other organizational equipment. The majority of the instructors of the centre have been trained in the US and have a good command of the English language.
The main purpose of this event is to develop military cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of military training. Cooperation between the Military Academy of Lithuania and Kazakh Republic has been developing for a long time. Kazakh officers are invited to participate in Junior Staff Officer Course at the Military Academy of Lithuania. Up till now two Kazakh officers have taken part in the course.
