On the 18th of January, 2010 a four month International English language course of Level 2 started at the Lithuanian Military Academy.

Nine participants came from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Montenegro, and Ukraine. All of them are in high spirits and are eager to learn English and even the Lithuanian language.

The first day is devoted to getting to know each other, presenting information about Lithuania and the Academy, testing the present language level of the students and arranging administrative matters. The second day will be a hard, challenging, funfilled experience, which will be managed by two well experienced foreign language teachers of the Institute of Foreign Languages.. At the end of the course, students will be tested in accordance with STANAG 6001 requirements, and after having received course completion certificates, everyone will return to their own country.

In addition to learning, students will become familiar with the Academy, Vilnius and its inhabitants; they will participate in rich cultural events and tour famous Lithuanian places.
