History

The Section of Commander Development is the youngest at the Academy, established on 1 April 2007 after the reorganization of the Academy.

Three subjects are lectured by lecturers of this Section: Leader Development, Military Administration, and Teaching Methodology. Before the reorganisation the said three subjects were divided among various subunits.

This Section was established to improve the coordination of training of cadets (students) as would-be commanders-leaders. It aims at training officers who had authority among their subordinates (Leader Development), properly commanding their military unit, and being good teachers to their soldiers. When considering the development of our country, we realise the responsibility that we, the instructors and lecturers of the Section of Commander Development, undertake in training would-be officers. Cadets (students) are individuals with their expectations, needs, and individual attitudes to life. Our task is to train leaders-commanders able to properly perform their duties; and to do so, considering their individual qualities.
