23 October 2009 the conference “Creation of Foreign Language Teaching Models and Their Application in Teaching Process“ was held at the General Jonas Zemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania.
20 October 2009 the community of the General Jonas Zemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania guided by the Chaplain Maj Remigijus Butkevicius of the Academy visited Vilnius St. Joseph Seminary. A group of people gathered to learn about the students’ daily life, studies as well as meet the leadership of the institution.

10 October 2009 the first year cadets of the General Jonas Zemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania took oath at the historical in the Yard of Old Arsenal of the Lower Castle. The command of the LR National Ministry of Defence, the Lithuanian Armed Forces, the Military Academy of Lithuania, representatives of divisions of the Armed Forces, cadets‘relatives participated in the solemn first-year cadet oath taking ceremony.
10 October 2009 the Congress–general members’ meeting of the National Union of Student Representations of Lithuania was held at the General Jonas Zemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania.
10 October 2009, Saturday, the General Jonas Zemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania first year cadets’ oath taking ceremony was held in Lithuanian National Museum. It was the first time when the oath taking ceremony has been organized outside the Academy area.
2 October 2009 Master’s Diplomas were awarded to the officers who successfully completed university second cycle studies in Military Diplomacy at the General Jonas Zemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania.
Last Thursday, 1 October 2009, Men‘s Choir of the Military Academy of Lithuania „Kariunas“ took a trip to Zokniai Air Force Base where a celebration of the 5 years of the Base establishment was organised. The community of the Air Base was entertained by the Orchestra of Lithuanian Armed Forces and Men‘s Choir of the Military Academy of Lithuania.
