This week the LR Government together with students’ organizations started implementation of the project „Students-to the Government“. The higher forms’ students, participants of the Project, have the possibility to learn about activities of public institutions, politicians and their everyday life.
Thus the most capable students from Lithuania do their training at Chancellery of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania and all Ministries.
24 August 2009 the International Air Force Command and Staff Courses were started at the General Jonas Zemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania. The Courses are organized aiming to train Air Force Staff officers capable to analyse and plan military air force operations.
At the beach on the banks of the lake in Lentvaris the Instructor of Military Training and Education Group of the General Jonas Zemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania WO Arunas Baranovas rescued a drowning man.
A few weeks ago in First Melnrage, a ten-year-old girl drowning near the promenade in the Sea, was rescued by Kestutis Skiesgilas, a 3 rd course cadet of the MAL.
