Autumn‘s Festival
2009-09-15

First of all we would like to express gratitude to the people who organised the Autumn‘s festival to us. Even although there usually are dissatisfied people whose dissatisfaction and criticism interferes in creating festive atmosphere of the event, these people never give in and make every effort to organise an interesting and colourful festival.

It is said that there is no such thing as bad weather, just improper clothing. This attitude was dominating during the festival on Friday. In spite of the fact that the new academic year started with rain, the participants were in good mood and voluntarily participated in the events. The community participating was really variable, including employees of the academy as well as officers with small children holding their parents’ hands.

There was a wide choice of exercises during the festival –volunteers had the chance to try their luck in command or individual exercises. In general everyone who wanted to have a good time found their own favourite activity–some played basketball, others chose tennis, darts, balls or Frisbee. The small ones could pop balloons and all the rest –just listen to music or spend their time in fresh air and in nice company.

We were kindly surprised by the participants’ good mood and wish to communicate. It would be a great pleasure to spend more time with the Academy‘s community in such warm and informal surrounding. I suppose that while spending our time together we develop as community, while communicating we learn something new and share good mood and emotions that cannot be spoiled either by bad weather or of by sceptics.
