Cadet Battalion Guitar Club

The eighteen cadets who attend the music classes gather twice a week. They play music instruments, learn new songs and share their experience with other members of the Club. They usually perform only in local Academy events. The cadets are given a great opportunity to improve the obtained skills.

BBBS (Big Brothers Big Sisters) Programme

This is an effective world-famous system which is intended to help children. The success of the programme is granted by stable friendship between a child and a cadet, special training of the volunteers and professional supervision of the communication between the child and the adult. The fellowship helps the child develop, gives him or her more self-confidence, teaches how to communicate and take care of their friends and themselves.
“The big” and “the little” friends meet once a week and spend two hours or more together. Initially, “the friends” sign an agreement for one year and it can be extended if “the friends” find their socializing desirable for both sides. The participation in the programme is free and set on voluntary basis.

Chorus “Kariunas”

The Chorus “Kariunas” is frequently present in after-class activities: basketball season openings, state festivals and other events. The choirmaster V.Verseckas, who dedicates his precious time and makes every endeavour to train and rehearse with cadets, recognizes talented personalities and helps them awaken their gift which might have been left unidentified.

Military Pentathlon Team

Football Team

Achievements: the Fourth Prize in the Rector Cup Tournament of Vytautas the Great University, 2007;The Fifth Prize in the same Tournament in 2008; The Fifth Prize in the Lithuanian Army Championship in 2008.

Boxing team

Achievements: in 2008 : first  team place in the Army championship. Different classes of weight : Arturas Ciuberkis – second place, Kazimieras Bogdanas – second place, Aleksandras Silvanovic – third place, Julius Svirusis - second place, Laimonas Skrebe-third place, Arvydas Bumblauskas – third place.

Powerlifting team

Achievements: in 2008 : Lithuanian Student Cup – first place (B. Zukovas); Lithuanian Powerlifting Cup - first place(B.Zukovas, E.Raibuzis), third place – (M.Simonavicius) ; Kaunas Double Event Competition  - first place (E.Raibuzis) ; Lithuanian Pressing Championship – third place (M.Simonavicius) (B. Zukovas, E.Raibuzis) , third place – (M.Simonavicius): Kaunas Biathlon Contest – first place (E.Raibuzis); Lithuaniain Pressing Championship – third place (M.Simonavicius.)
