University studies are consecutive studies that enable the person to acquire higher education and qualification.

At the General Jonas Zemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania the studies are conducted at two levels: the main level of studies grant the graduates with a Bachelor's degree, the second level is the Master's degree studies. The graduates of the second level are conferred on a Master's qualification degree.

Cadets and listeners study according to study programmes prepared and approved by the departments of the MAL that are registered at Register of studies and education programmes.
