The Objective of Military Training and Education Group (hereafter MTEG) is to train and educate qualified officers, meeting the requirements of the modern armed forces, to produce battalion staff, company and platoon commanders, air force staff officers, officers-aviation specialists, officers-specialists, connections and information systems, logistics officers regarding relative course programmes.
The main goals of MTEG are as follows:
to provide students with knowledge and skills allowing them to continue their service in the positions of the Mechanised and Motorised Infantry Comapany Commander (Land) and the Battalion Staff Officer (Land);
to produce platoon commanders who meet the qualification requirements certified by the Minister of Defence regarding the Program of Basic Military Training;
to prepare officers-aviation specialists according to Basic Air Force Military Training Program;
to prepare officers-specialists, connections and information systems, logistics officers regarding relative course programmes;
to prepare officers-aviation specialists regarding the program of Basic Air Force Military Programme;
to prepare air force staff officers of the three Baltic States according to certified Air Force Staff Officer Programme.
to conduct training for commanders of connections platoon reserve, logistics officers and state employees regarding relative course programmes.
