On 29 October 2008 the General Jonas Zemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania (MAL) Library held a seminar, ’Libraries of the National Defence System of Lithuania: Development and Perspectives’. Among the participants there were the staff of the libraries of the National Defence System of Lithuania, lecturers of the MAL, scientific workers, and representatives of Vilnius bookshops
On 24 October 2008 the Department of Foreign Languages of the Institute of Foreign Languages of the Military Academy of Lithuania (MAL) held a seminar ’Application of Modern Intensive Methods for Teaching Foreign Languages‘. The MAL Commandant Brig Gen Edvardas Mazeikis welcomed the participants of the seminar, among which there were lecturers of the English language training divisions of Vilnius, Kaunas and Nemencine, MAL and VGTU Departments of Foreign Languages as well as other guests.
On 7 October 2008 Emile Schweicher, a Professor of Radars and Optronics at the Royal Military Academy in Brussels, Belgium, Honorary Colonel of the Belgian Air Force, a NATO Research Technology Organisation (RTO) Sensors and Electronics Technology (SET) panel member, visited the General Jonas Zemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania (MAL).
