Major goals of the Division of Physical Training:
To develop the following physical qualities: endurance, strength, speed and nimbleness;
To teach and develop the following physical skills: to move in rugged terrain, ski overcoming obstacles and swim with equipment;
To develop psychophysical skills necessary for a leader to undertake special missions;
To strengthen servicemen’ health and harden their bodies in the conditions of combat activities and unfavourable factors;
To lead healthy lifestyle.
Major activities of the Division of Physical Training:
To develop officers’ leadership skills;
To conduct physical training exercises for commanders and junior staff officers;
To provide officers with psychophysical training;
Scientific activities (optimization of the Lithuanian servicemen’ psychophysical training programmes);
Sports (boxing, judo, football, force triathlon, military pentathlon, combat self-defence, basketball, track and field athletics: run, orienteering, weightlifting);
Physical training assessment of the Academy servicemen, candidates to the Academy and servicemen from other subunits;
