The youth who aim to study at the General Jonas Zemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania can already start taking part in the selection process organized by the Officer Selection Centre of the Military Academy of Lithuania. The right to enter the Academy will be extended to the persons who have passed the professional aptitude test.
On 16 May 2013, Austrian Defence Attaché to Lithuania Brig. Gen. Michael Derman paid a visit to The General Jonas Zemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania. The guest met the command of the Military Academy of Lithuania and cadets from the Theresian Military Academy currently studying here under the Erasmus programme.
On May 16, the participants of the second level International English Language Courses were awarded completion certificates at The General Jonas Zemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania. According to the bilateral agreements between Lithuania and foreign countries, the four-month courses enrolled officers from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro and Ukraine.
On May 11, the Cadets’ Drama Workshop of the Military Academy of Lithuania participated in the 14th International University Theatre Forum “Suspended Moments” and staged a special military-artistic performance TANGO at the Military Equipment and Transport Museum, a branch of the Vytautas the Great War Museum.
